📝 For the Silent Watchers (But Not for the Ones Who Show Up)

What needs to be said is this – most people don’t engage because they care; they engage because others do. That’s not support – that’s herd behavior. We’ve all seen it – people you know personally, people you once supported, helped, encouraged. You share something meaningful – and they watch in silence. They view your posts, read your stories, follow your journey – but never say a word. Never acknowledge. Never engage.

That kind of energy isn’t neutral – it’s disturbing.

It’s not harmless – it’s passive, performative, and frankly, it starts to feel voyeuristic.

Some go even further – ghosting after receiving kindness. You reach out sincerely – no reply. That silence speaks volumes.

Years ago, when I had 35,000+ followers across platforms, many of those same people were active, engaged, and eager to show support. The moment I deleted everything and rebuilt from scratch – silence. Not because they couldn’t see the work, but because no one else was reacting, and they didn’t want to be first. That’s weak character – and I’ve outgrown those dynamics.

I’m re-building very slowly – my music, my van life, my businesses, my creative world. It takes time because I’m doing it entirely on my own – with care, vision, and depth. And when things grow – and they will – I’ll be building forward with those who showed up when it mattered.

To the few who’ve been present, kind, and consistent – thank you.

I see you. I appreciate you. And I won’t forget it.
