Some love stories are never meant to be, no matter how deeply they are felt. Solivion is the song I never wanted to write - the sound of a love so consuming, yet impossible to hold onto. I moved to a foreign country chasing my music, determined to build the life I had dreamed of. Love was never part of the plan. And then, he appeared - unexpected, undeniable. The kind of love that changes everything. The kind that pulls you in, even when you know it will break you.

He was a father, still untangling the threads of his past. His life belonged to his children, his work, his responsibilities. I was a woman who had never wanted children, but instead longed to give all my love to the right man - to devote myself to him completely, to make him my first, my only, just as I hoped to be his. But I was never first. Never only.

I gave up so much for him - my time, my music, the plans I had made. I lost myself in a love that could never truly be mine. And when I finally walked away, it felt like tearing my own heart out. Leaving him was the hardest thing I have ever done. But staying would have meant losing myself completely.
